EB Pro Flawless Finish Foundation Review

Today I tested out this foundation. I tried their stick foundation last year and I love it! Let’s see if this will be at par with that! 🙂

This is the EB Pro Flawless Finish Foundation. This cost me P180, well, that cost my sister that because this is originally hers! Hehe. They have 4 shades ranging from: Natural, Beige, Oriental, and Gold (Correct me if I’m wrong!). It contains 30mL of foundation.

The claims are the following:

  • Long lasting liquid foundation that dries faster than the ordinary foundation.
  • Leaves a soft natural finish without flaking effects.
  • Enriched with Vitamin E that helps maintain natural skin moisture.
  • Easily covers dark circles, redness, and minor skin imperfections.
  • This unique foundation creates instant affinity with the skin that makes it glide on like silk and stay fresh looking as it imparts a glowing skin all day.
  • Comes in frosted glass bottle with pump for ultimate control.

I tried using it with 3 different tools: A real techniques sponge, a brush and my fingers.

This foundation can be used with all those tools mentioned. I didn’t think they gave me a BIG difference within those three tools. But I must say it gave me “more” coverage when I used a brush.

This is a pretty SHEER foundation as it states on one of their claims. It did gave me a soft glowing NATURAL finish which I wouldn’t mind IF I didn’t have any scars from my previous breakout. Now that I do have some imperfections, I would rather want a foundation that would either cover them completely or at least lessen the minor skin imperfections that I have. This didn’t do really much. It didn’t cover even the smallest scar, dark circles, nor redness that I have on my face.

Rather than writing paragraph by paragraph on my experience with this foundation I know a lot of you wants the simplified version so I’ll put it’s pros and cons instead. BTW, I have an oily face, has a little bit of redness on the sides of my nose, has some pimple scars and veins on my cheeks. These pros and cons may depend on what skin type you have and what you prefer to a foundation.

PROS:

  • Soft glowing NATURAL finish
  • Has a light coverage (depends on what your preference.)
  • Looks so good when first applied
  • You can use any tools with it
  • Affordable and Accessible
  • Very sleek packaging for the price. It has a pump

CONS:

  • VERY SHEER! It didn’t cover any of my imperfections.
  • Not long lasting at all. The foundation was completely gone after 3 hours. My bronzer and blush were faded as well.
  • Not good for people with oily skin (it does claim to be moisturizing) unless you primed with a MATTIFYING PRIMER (I guess! :p)
  • Has only 4 shades. I have the Oriental shade and it has a pink hue to it which doesn’t really match my yellow undertone skin. (Although it didn’t necessarily look bad when I wore it.)
  • I don’t like the pump as I can’t control on how much product I get from it.
  • It feels a bit sticky. It didn’t set or dried on my face fast as it claimed.
