KJM CHEEK & LIP TINT REVIEW AND SWATCHES

KJM Cosmetics is a local brand here in the Philippines. I didn’t get a lot of information from their website nor their social media sites but I believe they are based here in Davao City, Philippines. (Correct me if I’m wrong. :p)

I got these KJM Cheek and Lip tint a week ago and thought about reviewing these. I only got 3 shades since that’s much more practical (even though I’m still spending money. hehe). I won’t be using all of the shades so it would be a waste of money if I got all of them.

I got Pink Puff, Bloodshot and Bittersweet Magenta. These 3 shades are the ones that spoke to me that’s why I got them. They actually have a lot of shades to choose from. Ranging from the pinks, reds, magenta etc.. You can check each shade with their corresponding swatches on their website.

I was watching a bunch of Korean dramas for the past few weeks and well, got super into the natural look. So I mean, I gotta try them right? :p

Here are the 3 shades I got from the brand:

From left to right: Pink Puff, Bloodshot, Bittersweet Magenta
From bottom to top: Pink Puff, Bloodshot, Bittersweet Magenta.
From bottom to top: Pink Puff, Bloodshot, Bittersweet Magenta.

I’d probably compare these to the lip and cheek tint by Avon.

It’s not as pigmented as these KJM tints but they’re comparable just by looking from their respective packaging.

PROS:

  • Affordable
  • Can achieve the Korean Natural Makeup Look
  • Very Pigmented
  • Has a lot of shades to choose from
  • Has a sweet taste to it (it does have a bitter after taste though)
  • Has a light scent to it
  • Shows up when worn as a blush
  • Lasts up to 5-6 hours on my lips depending on what I ate on that day

CONS:

  • You can’t find it on stalls near you as of now (May 3, 3017). I purchased these online (from the shopee app to be exact) as I can’t find it near me. Correct me if I’m wrong. (You can message them on their facebook page and ask if they’ll do meetups here in Davao City)
  • Dries at the center of my lips (ONLY!!!) after a couple of hours wearing it
  • Easily fades when I wear it as a blush as I am oily
  • You have to blend it using your fingers or a brush depending on your preference as they don’t appear to swatch seamless on both your lips and your hand. You can actually see it on the picture I provided at the top they appear separated.

These pros and cons are what I experienced from the product. If you have any input on their pros and cons feel free to comment it down on the comment section down below. 🙂

If you’ll ask me if this is worth a try? Then I say yes! My favorite is the Bittersweet Magenta as it’s much more pigmented than the other two. 🙂

That’s it for today! Thank you for reading! 🙂

Ela
