Hello Hongkong Disneyland!!! (Guide to Hongkong Disneyland from Macau)

First of all sorry about all the exclamation points on my title but I had to! It’s my first time and every first time has to have an exclamation point right!? (Maybe that statement was inappropriate! Lol)

Anyway, we went to Macau last month, November 10 to be exact but we went to Hongkong Disneyland on the 12th. It’s kind of a post birthday celebration for my sister.

The first thing we did was go to Macau Taipa Ferry Terminal and bought tickets going to Hongkong. The ticket cost us 167 MOP, which is around 1000php, but Papa and Mama got it at a discounted price because Papa works at the Venetian Hotel and that’s one of their benefits.

I look so tired! That’s because I am! Haha. It’s currently 8 AM and the usual time I wake up is 10 AM. (I know, it’s bad!) πŸ˜€

It’s approximately 60 mins. from Macau to Hongkong via Cotai Jet. From the Hongkong international Airport we bought tickets going to Disneyland. It’s a 44 mins. ride via their MTR and the single ticket cost us HK$ 26 each.. That’s already a back and forth ride. We did transfer from one MTR to the official Disneyland MTR which was so cute!

They had a mickey mouse shaped mirror and overall the MTR was Disneyland themed already.

At last! We’re here!

By the way, the comfort room before entering Disneyland was not what I was expecting. Just saying. :p

So as any other tourists, me and my sister had to take pictures with everything we thought was a cute place to take a snap.

Excited to watch the live action of Beauty and the Beast next year btw. πŸ™‚

Before entering Disneyland you have to purchase tickets from the entrance (which Papa already bought us tickets weeks before). It cost us around HK$ 500 each for a one day admission and that is inclusive of all the rides there.Β Disneyland actually have special offers on their website so you might want to check that out.

We had to! πŸ˜€

Before riding anything from Disneyland of course we had to take selfies! Lol

The first ride was their train that goes all around the place.

It was too hot so I had to take off my jacket. Haha. The weather in Macau is a bit different from Hongkong.

This wasn’t the most exciting ride you’ll ever have but we still enjoyed it.

We didn’t take a picture with Mickey at the back because the line was sooooooooo long! It’ll take all our time just to stand in line. :p

After the ride we devoured this super delicious muffin!! You must try this! It’s sooooo delicious!

And then we went to Adventure land…

Where are you Tarzan!?

There you are! πŸ˜€

And then we rode 2 roller coasters. I don’t have a picture on the ride because I left my bag to Papa. Too bad! I did have some clips but I’m still editing it and hopefully I can post it on youtube on thursday. πŸ™‚

We met R2d2 here and get to ride the space themed roller coaster.

We did roam around the whole Disneyland and let me tell you, it’s pretty tiring but it was nice though. We didn’t ride the other “rides” so we just walked and walked and walked! Going here was exercise itself. :p

Honestly, Disneyland was not that big compared to Ocean Park. We wen’t there last 2013 and their roller coaster was suicide!! Lol. It’s so big we didn’t get the chance to roam around the place in a day. It’s much better compared to Disneyland.

Anyway, we rode the same Disneyland MTR and then the MTR going to Hongkong Airport and then we went back to Macau and end our day there.

I hope you like this kind of a “guide” post. Let me know if you have questions or you want a post like this again in the comment section below.

Thank you for reading! πŸ™‚

xo,

Ela
