I first found this line on Beautymnl last national lipstick day but I wasn’t able to snatch any of them since it was sold out in a heartbeat! So I messaged Beautymnl on IG and twitter and they responded when it will be back. The day it restocked, I immediately bought 3 shades from the line.

The only place I can snag these lipsticks from that time are from Beautymnl that’s why I had to message them and all. (It’s available at Zalora.ph now as well.)

Maybelline Creamy Matte Brown Nude was originally retailed at 299php but I bought them online for 199php each. (I checked it from the website just now and it’s back to 299php each.)

These are the shades I bought:

From the left: Clay Crush, Daringly Nude, and Nude Embrace

My favorite shade is Clay Crush because I find that it’s creamiest out of all 3 shades I got.

At first, I thought that Nude embrace washes me out because it’s literally a brown nude,  but I just have to put a lip liner underneath to make the shade a little bit different. I love to use the L.A Color lip liner in Natural for this specific shade. Daringly Nude is a very pink on my lips so I still have to put a lip liner underneath as well or mix it with another color to change the shade a bit.

You can still feel that it’s really a matte on the lips but nothing near the feeling of wearing a liquid lipstick. Both Daringly Nude and Nude Embrace emphasizes the cracks on my lips a bit but nothing severe.

All three shades I own do have a little bit of sheen to them.

OVERALL, I love all three shades and I recommend it to anyone who is already tired of wearing a liquid lipstick but still wants to have that matte feel.
