When I see pictures of foods on facebook (more so being posted by a couple of people) I immediately want to try it there.

I heard Echo store for quite some time now and it took us a while before even trying there.

So we planned it with my boyfriend and friends to watch Pitch Perfect 2 and then have dinner at Echo Store. (By the way PP2 was hilarious!! :D)

We got there a little late because the cab we got didn’t know where it was. When we got there, the place was full so we had to wait a little while to get some seats.

The place was comfy. They have a refrigerators full of organic stuffs like veggies, breads, etc. On the other side of the store they have a small place for cakes, coffees, etc. They also have some hand woven bags, coffee beans, skin care, chocolates, ice cream and a lot to mention that are all organic/echo friendly.

First of all, I have to say that the first waiter who entertained us was kind of grumpy. We were just asking him something and he answered us in a manner that you can say that he’s tired or something. Anyway, all the other waitresses were kind though. So, we ordered Mushroom Carbonara, La Trio Pasta, Spring rolls, Chicken Barbecue, Soup of the day, Carmens Best Salted Caramel Ice Cream, and Mango shake.

I must say if you like organic foods, lots of herbs and veggies then you will like it there. I like vegetables but I don’t eat all kinds of it.

On my opinion the Carbonara was good but nothing that I will crave for. There’s this feeling that I wanted more “umpf” from the dish.

The Spring Rolls was good also but some parts of it was bland and there was some bitterness to it. It’s kind of unique in a way because their sauce was peanut butter. I heard an american liking it on the other side of our table.

The La trio pasta does not taste good on my opinion.

The soup of the day tasted like herbs. Maybe because there were herbs on it. Duh me! 🙂

Mango shake was bland also.

Chicken tastes good though.

The best part of the meal was dessert! I love Carmens best Salted Caramel Ice Cream. It was really that good!! All the hype about it was true. It’s still organic so you don’t get a lot of calories that you get from other Ice creams.

Overall, I would rate it 4 out of 5 because we love the place but the Ice cream though is a bit pricey but so delicious! They also charge service fee so keep that in mind. 🙂

So is it hot or nay? hmm. Maybe in between. I’m torn between the ice cream and the food itself. 🙂

Keep also in mind that it’s all about your food preference of whether it’s good there or not. 🙂
