My Go To Makeup Products

These past few days I haven’t been beating myself up with makeup. Well, let’s get real. “Not much”. 😀

Actually, I have been breaking out crazy these past few weeks so I decided to wear less makeup as possible.

Here is my go to makeup products as of the moment:

  1. Rimmel Stay Matte Transparent Powder – This has always been my favorite pressed powder. It doesn’t make me cakey as much as other powders do to my face. They say it doesn’t have any colors as what it’s name says but I do think it still has some color to it as it makes my face a lot lighter than it should be. Do you agree?

2. The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer – No need to explain why I love this ’cause you probably own this too.  🙂

A picture can’t tell how beautiful this highlighter is!!

3. Careline blush in Peach Glow – It’s a Philippine brand. I bought this last year but had to wear this just now. I didn’t know why I haven’t been wearing this last year as this is so beautiful and a perfect peach blush for your everyday look.

As you can see it has already been rubbed off! 😀

4. Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in Neutralizer – As everyone says, this is the best drugstore concealer they ever tried. I can’t tell that since I haven’t tried many concealers yet but I do love this one. They say this is full coverage but it doesn’t really necessary cover my eyebags maybe that’s why there’s color correcting to correct it? lol. Anyway, this is a really thick concealer and you can actually tell it on the picture below. It has a yellow undertone so it really brightens your undereyes. When I washed this it doesn’t seem to get off my skin easily. I had to rub it real hard to get it off my skin. 🙂

5. Elf Contouring Blush and Bronzer in St. Lucia – I mostly use the bronzer side of this palette. I tried the blush part and it’s really pretty but believe me or not I actually haven’t swatched the blush on my hand since I bought this. Hehe. As you can see, both the bronzer and the blush has small speckles of gold glitter to it. You still can see some glitters on the swatches as well but don’t be afraid to wear the bronzer all over your face because it doesn’t really appear glittery or you can’t tell that it’s glittery on the face. The shade is on the cool side so you don’t have to be afraid of looking orange. Don’t wear it as a contour though. A matte formula is much better for contouring.

6. Loreal Butterfly Mascara  – I use the Loreal Butterfly Mascara only on my lower lashes. This is waterproof so it’s the only mascara that doesn’t smudges on me. It’s not good on the upper lashes though. The only problem with this is that it dries so fast! Do you guys have anything to recommend to me that’s best on the lower lashes?

7. Benefit Roller Lash Mascara – Like the Loreal Butterfly Mascara, I only use this on the upper lashes as well. I cannot use this on the lower lashes as this smudges on me. This actually curls my lashes as it says to do. I don’t know if it will have the same effect to those who have very straight lashes though. I have short lashes but it’s not straight not that curled naturally either. Maybe it’s in between? 🙂

8. Suesh Concealer in C214 – It’s slightly darker than my skin tone but it still works. It has a peachy tone to it so I use it first on my eyebags before I put on my Age Rewind to lessen the darkness on my undereyes.

These are the swatches on broad daylight. And my pup there seemed to want to be part of the picture as well. Hehe. There’s two pup on this picture, can you tell where’s the other one? Lol

What are your go to makeup products these past few days? Tell me on the comments below! 🙂
