April Favorites

As I have said on my previous post I don’t have a lot of things to mention on the month of April so I decided to include some of my May favorites as well. 🙂

First of all, I haven’t been going out for quite some time so I guess that explains my little amount of things I tried out for the past month. Now I have to warn you that these are pretty random so yeah.. I will include some of my favorite youtuber, movie, music, etc. :p

Nivea Refreshingly Soft Moisturizing Cream. You know those chicken skin you get when you shave? I have those on my legs since I haven’t been using a shaving cream every time I shave (which I should be using by now!). Anyway, I got this last year but I just have been using this just last month since the smell of it turned me off the first time I used it. I tried it again on only the parts where I got those nasty bumps and I was pretty surprised on how well it moisturized and lessened the chicken skin on my skin for just a couple of days using it. I highly recommend this! I just hope it doesn’t have that chemically scent.

Slanted Blush Brush. I already mentioned this on my previous post about my favorite brushes so I don’t have to elaborate why I love this brush. I love how this applies bronzer and blush to my face! It’s the perfect size to contour as well. 🙂 I bought this randomly at the department store and it doesn’t have a brand so sorry if I don’t have a link for it.

Nichido Tapered Blush Brush. This is actually included in a brush set that I bought in Nichido. I wasn’t a big fan of it when I bought it but I used this every single time I want my contour to be defined last month. I love how it’s tapered and small that it’s a perfect tool for baking under your contour. I bought it in Watsons so it’s pretty cheap actually. 🙂 I also don’t have a link for this but if you have Watsons or Nichido on your area then you can find this there.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge.

Most of the beauty gurus I watch in youtube says that this is a dupe for the beauty blender. I don’t know that since I haven’t tried the beauty blender one. But as you can see on this picture, I love this so much that it has been through hell. Lol. The slanted side I use for my foundation and the pointed part I use for my concealer. This doesn’t cost much so if you haven’t tried it then what are you waiting for!?

Nyx Wonder Concealer Stick in Medium. I think I mentioned this on my previous post but I didn’t like it at first. I don’t even know why I chose medium since my skin tone is pretty much medium. Lol. Anyway, I have been trying this for some time now and the thing I like about this is how blendable this is. It’s medium so it just gave me a subtle contour and it does give you that shadow effect. I don’t use the highlighting part though. I might buy a darker shade though. 🙂

Hair Tie. This particular hair tie which I bought again from watsons is my favorite as of the moment because it holds my pretty thick hair without giving me a headache. Again, I’m sorry if I can’t give you the link for this one. 🙂

Daiso W202 Natural Eyelashes. I have other lashes but I always go back to this one. This is pretty affordable since this is from Daiso. This is so natural people always mistook this for my real lashes. 🙂 This is natural so if you love dramatic lashes then this is not for you.

BH Cosmetics Forever Nude Sculpt and Glow. I love BH Cosmetics not only because they are very affordable but because they provide consumers good products as well. This is one of those products. I mostly use the contour, blush and the banana shade from this palette. I’m not inlove with the highligher and the bronzer but I’m not mad at it. 🙂 I have been using the contour shade a lot last month. I love how this looks shadowy instead of just a harsh dark shade on your face. It is still sold on their website so try it if you want. 🙂 And yeah, this one’s light to medium but they also have another kit for medium to deep skin tones.

Gatsby Oil Clear Sheet. I tried a couple of blotting films but this one is my favorite! This is on the men’s section but I still use this. Lol. I love how I can use both sides of it. It has 70 sheets but it last me a long time since I only use 2-3 sheets but mostly just two every time I go out. They have two kinds of blotting sheets: the powdered and the clear one. I love the clear one just because I feel like the powdered one just made my pores bigger or the powder gets inside my pores. Maybe it’s just my imagination but whatever! 🙂

Skinmate Shark Oil. I bought this also from the department store. It is currently sold in the Philippines but I saw this on ebay and it is sold there for $15 which sucks since this is only 100php for 15mL here in the Philippines. I have been breaking out a lot lately and this seems to get rid of those pimples! This exfoliates the first layer of the skin thus removing dead skin cells. I must say this would make your skin look dark for a couple of days on the skin (around 2 days on the face) but reveals a whiter complexion after it starts to peel off. It also makes my skin feel soft after. This doesn’t sting on me too. I don’t know with other people though. I forgot to include this on my featured image. 🙁

Picture not mine.

Lemons. I had to include this on my favorites! Lol. As I said, I have been breaking out for the past week so I had to use something that will remove my pimple scars and this seem to lessened the scars. Of course it will take a while but I did see a difference since I used this. I mixed it with water to make it less acidic.

Aside from these products I also have other favorites.

Favorite Youtuber

Picture not mine.

Chirstian Collins. I saw him on Meredith Foster’s video and I instantly fell for his looks. Especially his green eyes. Lol. Aside from his looks he seem pretty sweet and positive on his snaps and twitter. He doesn’t post on youtube often so I follow his other social medias instead. 🙂

Favorite Movie

Captain America: Civil War. Watched this on IMAX and on the regular screen as well. That’s how I love it! You can never go wrong with Marvel! This is a must watch! 🙂

Favorite Netflix Show

Shadow Hunter. I don’t know why but I guess I just love me some vampire, wolf, warlock, etc. action. Season 1 just ended and it kills me to wait for the second season. ;p

Favorite Music

  1. Lost Boy by Ruth B
  2. Close by Nick Jonas
  3. Hold up by Beyonce
  4. Fast Car (Radio Edit) by Jonas Blue

Well, that’s it for my favorites. I hope you like it!
