There are a lot of brands out there that release new brushes every minute. I mean you have Morphe, BH Cosmetics, Real techniques, E.L.F, and any other drugstore brushes you could think of.
Yes, they are affordable but for people who don’t have stores that sell them at their area then it would be not as affordable as it suppose to be.
These are some of my affordable brushes that I bought at the department store:
Yes, you read it right. Department store brushes. You can find them at the cosmetic isle of course.
Peniel Cosmetics Blush Brush – bought this at Gaisano south for 109php I think. I forgot to keep the receipt! 🙁 But anyway, I’m pretty sure it’s about that price or around $3-4. For the price and an unknown brand for me, I thought the bristle was so soft. I bought this just a week ago and washed once. You can tell that it’s not one of those brushes who sheds easily after one wash. I use this for bronzing and applying blush on the face. You can also use this for powder application, depends on your preference really. 🙂
Blush Brush – this is a random blush brush that doesn’t have a brand on the item but I bought this at GMALL department store. It only cost me 89php or more or less $2-3. I used it for bronzing up the skin and applying blush on my cheeks.
Paston Cosmetic brush – I bought this at Gaisano South also last week. It only cost me 69php or around $2.I don’t know what type this brush is because I lost the damn receipt! Lol. I use this mostly for concealer application but I used this for cream contouring once as well. It’s really soft you guys! I feel like it won’t shed easily because I tried to pull 2 strands that are not the same length but it won’t pull out. (I could have just cut them short but I didn’t. lol)
Large Fan Brush – Another one who doesn’t have a brand name on the brush but is says “0030” on the handle. Love this for bronzer application! You can tell I LOVE bronzers eh? Hehe. Bought this at GMALL department store for 109php I think. I had this for a while so I forgot how much it was but of course it doesn’t cost me a lot. It’s still in great condition too.
Peniel Cosmetics Small Fan Brush – use this for highlighting. Bought at GMALL and cost me only 39php or less than $1 I think. I had this for a while and it’s still in great condition with no shedding wash after wash. 🙂
My point is, you don’t have to spend too much on a brush. If it’s affordable and of great quality then why not use it right? The best part is you won’t regret it if it’s not that good. Here I can test and feel it before I buy stuff.
It’s just practical for me. You can buy whatever you want though. It’s up to you. 🙂

These are all brushes here in Davao, Philippines but I bet you can find some on your local stores too. 🙂
[…] Blush Brush. I already mentioned this on my previous post about my favorite brushes so I don’t have to elaborate why I love this brush. I love how this applies bronzer and blush […]
