April Favorites!

I thought I wouldn’t be posting another monthly favorites, but then again Nicole (from Asalwaysnicole) suggested that I should do it. So here it is: 🙂 (Not to mention, I’m running out of ideas on what to post! Lol)

I don’t really have a lot of faves this month as I did the last month (Maybe because I posted all of it last month already. Lol). But these are what I use every single day! Or at least interchangeable. 🙂

Makeup:

This is THE NIGHT palette from forever21. I was suprised on how pigmented the colors were but then again not all of them are great as it has some chalky shadows there.

That pinky white shadow is what I always set my eye primer with. It really brightens the eye and also let the other shadows blend easily.

This is a NYX Full coverage Concealer in Glow. I don’t know why it’s called Glow because it appears to have a salmon color than glowing. xD

I loved this concealer this month because I had some breakouts on my cheek and nose and it really did cover the redness on my zit. Like it covered that **** zit up. Lol. I have to put another concealer or set it with my shade to cover the salmon color up. DOWNSIDE would be it tends to crease up on my undereyes and the only thing that makes it not crease up is if I used my Sigma P86 brush then sprayed with Fix + then dip into this concealer as if using your beauty blender to make it less full coverage. (Which I should have used a sponge instead! Id**t me! Lol.

My favorite product to set my undereyes with and also to dust all over my face! Tried other stuffs but this is the only one that doesn’t crease up on me as well. It’s Rimmel Stay Matte in Transluscent. (It’s old so the name has rubbed off already)

This one’s really pigmented. It was difficult to erase from that swatch. Lol. Had to use my makeup remover for it. Not that difficult erasing from the waterline though.

Gerard Cosmetics 1995 (on the left) and Berry Smoothie (on the right). They are quite similar. The difference would be that 1995 is slightly brownish nude and berry smoothie is pinky red. It’s super creamy and stays on the lips for a good amount of time. Not long lasting though but still. 🙂 It fades naturally not like other lipstick which looks like you just lip lined your lips and forgot to fill it in. xD

Striking RED! Had a couple of compliments on it! 🙂 I want the orangey red as well which was Kiss me you fool. When I had the chance to try it (from my sisters lippie. lol) I died for a couple of seconds! I also have a review on it from my previous posts.!

Movies:

  • Fast and Furious 7 – I love this movie not because it’s Fast and Furious but because it was the last installment that Paul Walker was still alive. The movie made me almost cry on the last part where Vin and Paul parted and Vin had the sweetest words to Paul which I think he wrote it himself? Don’t quote me on that though. Lol. Had to watch the movie twice on the big screen.
  • Avengers : Age of Ultron – To be honest I forgot the story of the last Avengers Movie but from what I remembered is that it doesn’t have many comic spills on the movie which it does have on this one. Loved the part when the hammer of Thor was lifted by the robot which they thought was Ultron! lol

  1. Hmmm…I always passed through the beauty section in Forever 21 but now you got me curious about that palette. Hope they still have it. Great favs! You should do swatches of all the colors in the palette!

    1. I actually have one but I have it on my other camera and the quality is a little crappy so did’nt planned to post it but now that you mentioned it. I will retake the swatches and post it. Thanks for your suggestions Nicole. Really help me a lot! 🙂
